Dia de los Muertos

Taft Junior High will be celebrating Dia De Los Muertos on Monday, 11.1 and Tuesday, 11.2 on campus.

We have distributed “sugar skulls” to students and staff who would like to participate by honoring a loved one or even a family pet who has passed on. Students and staff can color a “sugar skull” and designate the name of a loved one or family pet on their “sugar skull” to commemorate and display on our TJH “ofrenda.”

This is a special recognition in which students will be able to honor and remember a loved one by coloring a sugar skull and writing the person's name on it. Your student is able to bring a photo, with parent approval. (TJH is not responsible for lost or damaged)

We will have an altar or “ofrenda” to display our loved ones in the front foyer of TJH.
